Peter Pham

Director

Peter founded the firm in 2011 after gaining experience from working at numerous practices. He was one of the last few who completed a two year training program called articles of clerkship after he completed his law degree at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2004.

Peter has broad experience in all areas of law throughout his career. His focus has been however in commercial and property field, and its dispute resolution. In his career, he has acted for large corporations and major lenders, and also small to medium businesses. He has involved in complex purchase and sale of property transactions, and property developments. He is also experienced in acting for landlords and tenants in relation to leasing of commercial and retail tenancies, and its dispute resolution. He is well equipped with knowledge and experience in guiding clients through complex commercial transactions and its dispute resolution. He understands that clients need to have advice with clarity and advices that are commercially sensible and practical, and directly address clients’ needs, right to the point.

Peter manages the firm and is well connected in the local community. His way of operating the business is providing high quality services that meets clients’ needs at a sensible and competitive fee structure. He is approachable and has guided many junior practitioners in gaining more experience in their career.

Outside of work, Peter likes travelling and spending time with his family.

Hai Dang

Solicitor

Hai practices in property and commercial law. He has extensive experience in property conveyancing. Before becoming a solicitor, he worked as conveyancing paralegal for nearly 10 years and has been specialising in property and commercial work since his admission in 2016.

Hai’s work predominately involves property conveyancing (commercial and residential), leasing and sale and purchase of business, and all property related transactions.

Hai is a keen worker who dedicates himself to provide the best possible service to clients. He spends time listening to client’s concerns and goes the extra step to help clients.

Hai holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Diem Hoang

Solicitor

Diem is an experienced solicitor in business and commercial laws having been admitted in 2012. Before joining Pham Solicitors, she practiced exclusively in business and commercial laws, assisting clients in general business sales and purchases, commercial land and building transactions, leasing and loan agreements, including a number of large high-stake transactions. She gained experience in both small suburban and larger city law firms before joining Pham Solicitors in 2020. At Pham Solicitors, Diem has the pleasure of assisting clients in business and commercial transactions. She is known for her attention to detail and drafting skills to ensure her clients are well protected. During her weekends, Diem enjoys singing, attending food markets, spending time with her loved ones and since becoming a marriage celebrant, officiating at weddings.

Diem holds Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, and Certificate IV in Celebrancy.

Calvin Yau

Solicitor

Calvin has substantial experience in many areas of law, including commercial and estate law and dispute resolution, since being admitted as a solicitor in 2012. Currently his primary work involves acting in commercial land or business acquisitions, representing landlords and tenants in commercial and retail leasing matters, and preparing and advising on share sale and other agreements.

Calvin is diligent at providing clear, actionable advice, and attentively addresses clients’ needs when representing them in their legal matters.

Calvin holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Jenny Luong

Paralegal

Jenny works in a team specialised in selling and buying businesses. She works collaboratively with our solicitor, Hai Dang, in assisting clients selling and buying their businesses. She has significant experience in preparing documents and assisting clients in disposing of retail businesses.

She is known for her prompt and efficient assistance and being knowledgeable in her areas.

Jenny is keen in helping clients and a good communicator in ensuring that the transaction completes, and when there are difficulties, those difficulties are resolved quickly so the transaction can complete on time or otherwise as quickly as possible. Her aim is to ensure that the transaction completes smoothly, efficiently, and promptly, as she appreciates that the aim of the transaction is to complete, and not to unnecessary difficulties or delays for the parties.

Kim Sen

Conveyancing Paralegal

Kim joined Pham Solicitors in 2021 to assist our busy conveyancing team. She has gained valuable experience and knowledge in conducting residential conveyancing matters, and is now assisting clients in all spheres of residential property transactions.

Kim is friendly, well-spoken and is known for her patience and persistence in trying to explain difficult concepts to clients to ensure they can understand with clarity.

When working with Kim, clients can be assured of her willingness and hard work.

Kimmie La

Conveyancing Paralegal

Kimmie joined Pham Solicitors in 2023 to assist our conveyancing team. She is quickly gaining experience and knowledge in conducting residential conveyancing matters, and is now assisting both clients and the team in residential conveyancing.

Kimmie is keen in explaining in assisting clients so their enquiries are answered and they understand the process and steps required in each matter.

Kimmie holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from James Cook University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Queensland.
